With only 4 simple and raw ingredients, you get a pack full of vitamins, antioxidants, omega-3 fats and healthy fibre.
They are perfect on the go and great as a pre-workout snack too!
2 cups walnuts
1 cup pitted dates
3 tablespoons cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Put all four ingredients in your food processor, pulse until they are in soft paste-like texture. Do not overdo it as you want to keep it a little crunchy!
If the mixture is too dry, add more dates or coconut oil and blend them up again!
Press the mixture into a lined baking dish, and freeze them for an hour or more.
Cut them into bars of any size you like. ENJOY!
You can store them in an air-tight container in the fridge for a week.
